College gives the student the opportunity to venture out on their own in a controlled setting. He or she can learn about their own strengths and weaknesses, and what truly is his or her interest. I remember my grandfather telling me that when he was my age, men and women could get well-paying jobs straight out of high school. In fact, it was somewhat uncommon for high school graduates, especially women, to attend college. In today’s world of education, however, that is not the case. In order to have a successful career and make enough money, it is almost essential for young people to have a college degree. Just like the earth’s population, the amount of information being discovered today is exponentially increasing. College teaches and inspires the innovative, creative thinking that must accompany these new discoveries.

I can be the one to help fix it. Everyone deserves peace, along with our future generations that is why I want to become educated in the field of forestry to save out great forests.
